I wish a lot of people in MN would do that with their car/truck/suv lights. I know a bike close behind at a light or stop sign usually shines straight into a car mirror, so I turn it to the side a bit while stopped, even in sunlight. Harleys are probably the worst with 5 or 7 lights on as bright as they'll go, but there aren't many bikes on the road here after dark, seldom run into that. I don't think I've ridden at night 5 times in the last 5 years, not too bad with no traffic, but get car headlights coming at you, you can't see the deer, and there are plenty of them.
not much night riding here either....but the lights are on all the time thanks to the nancy pants in the government.......prolly a good idea however the bright er the light the harder it is for a cager to determine how fast you are going and then decide whether they have time to pull out or not....usually they guess wrong.
