TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
At 5 PM Thursday we will be taking her for her final ride to the vet. As you all know not easy, but right. (And on our wedding anniversary no less).
Only encouraging thing I can say Mick, is the grief will fade, the memories won’t.

Halito Woods. Mick, I'm sorry to hear this. Been there, done that. I grew up on a farm and was somewhat "used" to putting animals down to keep them from suffering. I swore I would never let a pet suffer. Had to put one down and I was "strong" during the vet visit. But I cried like a baby when I called wifey and told her. Like Chuck says, the sadness will go away. The memories won't. Don't know how many times I call Zeus (current dog) Casey (the sweetie I put down). Sorry for my rambling. Not intending to bring anything to myself. Only trying to help you with the pain. My thoughts and prayers with you and your family.
So today is Thursday....trash day....er, um, I mean the day after Bob and Cheryl's big day..... honeymoon must be going well!!
Y'all be careful. Lurker out.....

I'm sure its for the best, Mick. Bella knows this. I'm sorry for the heartache it will bring you.
