Gangs in Minneapolis have graduated to full auto, and people are still saying gun control... Victims and shooters (when caught, not often) are almost always the same color, the one that's 7% of Minnesota. Tiny percent of a tiny group does most of the violent crime, but nobody will mention that. The police chief says that if the police force gets disbanded, he won't have anything to do with whatever replaces it. That city is insane, hope their fun and games doesn't spill over into surrounding towns, I'd have to increase the ammo budget.
Pretty cool today, but still worked up a sweat outside. Exercise is supposed to be good for you, but seems like all it does is make me tired the past 2 or 3 years. Tired didn't put me in the house today, though, my back's response to a shovel did. Never did like shovels anyway. Took a nap for over an hour this afternoon, should do that more often, felt good.
S.O.S., or Russ's version of it with sausage, is something I like. Guys hated it in the army, but I liked it a lot better than eggs, army cooks were experts in preparing awful eggs, but I never had one mess up S.O.S. Did have a cook at the base next to Savannah, Georgia, that made good cheese omelets, and I'd never had eggs and cheese before. Since then I seldom cook eggs without cheese. Been a long time since anything like Russ's photo, I should make some biscuits...

On tonight's episode of "Parenting Fails", TV commercial almost gets me in trouble.
This came on while I was watching broadcast TV today...
So, I said "I'd hit that" and the kids heard me, so they asked what that meant. I told them I'd hit the tennis *****. So, I lied...which may not seem like a big deal...little white lie and all, but now I'm a hypocrite when I lecture them on honesty.
And it's a double fail....one day, they'll be old enough to understand what I really meant and be scarred for life.
I'm sure I could come up with a 3rd fail, like lusting after women that aren't my wife, but let's not get carried away.

Evening Wooders - just back from a Metro trip with Tammy today. Hit a few stores with her and did grab a new Face Shield for my Neotec for $70. They don't exactly give those away LOL.
Had a great dinner with her at a modern place that resonates old-school supper club/bar ambience, like you expect some of the Rat Pack in for dinner. ( Moldie: Wildfire in Eden Prairie). Man, love their menu/beef and tonight's prime rib was superb. Tammy had some fufu Shrimp-type dish, but she liked it and that's all that matters. Taking a day off tomorrow to hang with dad and also work on a car he has - 1985 Olds Toronado. Was his sister's car (my aunt) and he received it when she passed. Runs good but needs some TLC.
Last year of the big-body Toronado.

Halito Woods, Toaks, Posers, Lurkers. Stan...nice looking Toro. Worked on those when I was at Old dealer....although not those "new" ones! I left the dealer in '79 so that was a bit after me. But nice car none the less. Lou.... love those cabinets. They sure look nice!! And Chuck.... nice job by grandson. I suspect you may have been down south during hunting season, so you didn't get chance to see it live??? Teach 'em young!
Well you all have a great day today. Be careful out there. Enjoy the one your with. Lurker out......

G'Morning, Denny and the Woods...great pics guys.
Chuck, good to see the young ones into the outdoor sports. Not enough of that.

Morning all. Move in today at school. 3 hour white privilege/unconscious racism training tomorrow and gender equity training Wednesday.
