Went for ride today..... got about 80 miles in...now standing at 980 miles. Perfect for its 1000 mile service on Wednesday. Gonna have mufflers and air cleaner swapped out and a tune put in as well. One of my old racing buddy's invited me to join a couple of others for next weekend at his cabin near the Jack Pine motorcycle club grounds. If I get the bike back and weather is decent, this would be our first big trip. If not, I'll be driving the SUV. Was worried I would not be able to put enough miles on for the first service. And for what its worth, I'll be doing the service and maintenance from here on out.

 

Afternoon Woodsnitzes. Home safely after turning 1498 miles on the odometer. The pool was chilly but I jumped in anyway.

EDIT: Adding that Kristi was a trooper and nary a complaint was heard.

I like hot and poolside way better than cold and inside. I could easily adjust to this. We're already talking home sale preparation. Cheryl is 100% all in.
