Russ, there's a Moto GP race in Bastrop on Oct 1 weekend. A long time friend is looking to be there. Is that something you enjoy? I've never been to a GP race.

I think I got heat exhaustion this weekend. I drank a ton of water and had some electrolytes as well, but it wasn't enough. The heat kicked my ***.
One hot summer day I was on a Poker Run here. I drank 3 bottles of water & 1 Pepsi and didn't pee all afternoon

Pics of the finished product? Did you brine it or slather spices on top? Inquiring minds want to know.

Good afternoon all. I played golf this morning, correction, I played at golf this morning. I do not think I had one good shot, nada, zip, zero, bupkus. I still had fun.

I collected pennies in a 2.5 gallon water bottle for over 30 years at the farm. Had to use a hand truck to move them here in 2020. I have been rolling them up in my spare time. I have found 6-8 wheat pennies including a 1941 with no mint mark. It could be worth upwards of a quarter. I am going to use the money to pay for fuel on vacation.. We used to collect change all year then roll the nickels, dimes and quarters to pay for vacation gas. I never rolled the pennies. Eventually I used the debit card so much that there wasn't enough change to get to the state line at the end of the year. So it just became car wash fund.

We had a great ride yesterday and I rode the FXR last evening as the sun was going down. I intend getting an evening ride in today too. Everyone ride safe.

Finished product much the same except darker crust.
Short marinade in spices/ red wine vinegar/ water mix. The flat is so dense that overnight would be better. Dry rub before cooking.
It's great cold - LOL

No - like an over-boiled Corned Beef. A wrap mid-way may have helped. It's tasty cold and does slice up very nicely for sammiches. Not sure I'll do it again....unless sammich slices are desired.

Well Rick, you made up my mind on what "car" comes next. I was thinking fast "next" classic like a 2002-2004 Mustang Mach 1 or Bullit. But considering out plans on living in AZ for at least the winter months, the Jeep makes far more sense. I would love a classic like yours but I'll start my research in earnest to determine what Jeep will suit our needs best. In the end they all kind of look basically the same.

It's a perfect 75 degree day here. Cheryl and I will hop on the bikes and go for a ride. Maybe stop in at the HD dealer out by us for the rally festivities. I'll ride my Honda Dream, but I'll be sure to wear a Harley shirt.
