This is the one we bought for Cheryl at a local shop, Exo 320 -

Has speaker pockets etc. No pinlock, but that can be added.

I really like the HJC models available. My current helmet I bought off of Amazon. It’s actually a good helmet but the modular aspect of it makes it noisy.

i wish I could find an inexpensive modular that wasn’t noisy. Can’t do the half helmets anymore on long trips. Every single time I get fever blisters from the sun and wind. I’ve tried every thing and the only solution I have found is a FF helmet.

I've heard modulars are just noisy no matter who makes them. That said, you're behind a windshield and wind noise should be minimal. Is it exhaust noise?

Sure it's not the voices in your head, Rick?

I’ve worn HJC full face helmets for my entire snowmobiling career. CL 10 was the first, 12, 14, etc….. I never payed any attention to how noisy they were, I just liked the fit & price. Now I believe a good deal of my hearing loss can be attributed to the noise. I still wear one but not without earplugs.

I agree Chuck. I swear the D&D Fat Cat on my Ultra made me damn near deaf in my right ear. It was a 2/1 and the noise was, at times, unbearable. I was super happy when I switched to a quieter exhaust.

And as quiet as the BMW is, ear plugs are still a must for wind noise. Honestly, the Street Glide with the wide Freedom shield on it was quieter in the wind than the aerodynamic BMW. It was exceptional in that regard.

I don't do modular helmets for a couple of reasons, but one is noise. I tried one years ago and ran it as long as I could, but it was loud. The chin bar started to get loose and eventually, the helmet wore out beyond my comfort level of wearing it.
