Damnit, I forgot the *STOMP STOMP*
I saw him sneak in and then bail yet again without a decent pic of the sewing machine bike.

My Shoei is about 7 or 8 years old. The liner is deteriorating. I wanted to replace it before WS 21 but couldn't swing the cash to do it. It's time now. I normally wear a Med in helmets, nice tight fit that breaks in. I'm wanting the RF-1400 but I'm seeing that some (not all) are having to go up a size because of the interior being more noise canceling and wrap around padding making it fit tighter.
Headed out after shuffle today to check the local(ish) Cycle Gear to see if I can find the size that will fit. Getting Tanya a new helmet too, it's time. This Covid has EVERYTHING screwed up. Little to nothing in stock, I have a front tire but the rear is on backorder, and I can't find a dark smoke visor for the helmet I can't find.

Lou, they make some of, if not the coolest looking helmets on the market. My only complaint is the listings of how noisy that helmet can be. Wind noise is a huge factor I take into consideration when looking. Removable liners, swappable cheek pads, pockets for BT internally, all of those are factors. As far as safety, really you hit the wall pretty fast and after that you're paying for amenities. Considering I wear FF all the time and how much time I spend in them, I won't go cheap again.
That said, a Biltwell for local runs would be awesome! I love the way they look.

Morning Greg, Denny, Tim, Chris, Mick, Larry, Lou and Markus!
Chris, Chris, Chris.........Helmets have an expiration date you know. I believe it's 3 years of regular use or 5 years from manufacturer date on the helmet (if you bought a 2 year old helmet the math works).
I found a place that has closeout Shoei. Not easy to find. You can get the RF1200 for under $400. They also have the GT Air II (I have the Air 1) for decent pricing vs retail. Shoei RF-1200 Helmet - Brawn - Size SM MD or LG - Motorcycle Closeouts by Rider Approved LLC
I bought Cheryl a Scorpion helmet for about $150. They actually make a great helmet for the price. I took hers apart to install the Packtalk and the liner, shell, and finish rival that on my Shoei. I may give them a look when I need to replace mine.

For the wife, she's looking at Scorpion and Sedici. Neither I have hands on riding time with. I'm headed to the link you posted right now.
Looking at those they seem to have the helmets and shields in stock. Several options available too! Awesome!
