Little known trivia- The Enola Gay led the second bombing attack on Nagasaki as a weather scout for Bock’s Car which dropped the second bomb.

NIce pics Russ. That's one place I'd like to visit.
Chris.... I think you need to put a few miles on those shocks to let them break in. I just found out my rears are adjustable on mine.... not sure how I missed that!!! They were cranked out all the way, so I ran it in a couple click to meet my weight requirements. So I'm paying attention to the ride now. Couple hundred ought to tell me something!
Got my new LRS shield today. Installed that and gave it a quick test run. I have about 2" of shield now over the fairing pouches. I like the look better. Still getting a bit of wind behind the fairing/shield. I'm afraid I may need to install the infamous fugly fangs. Hate the looks but love the results!

Here's the history of the B-26 "Flak Bait", veteran of 207 bombing missions, undergoing preservation in the workshop.

Totally out of curiosity if they advise ..... do any of the aircraft on display retain any functionality? Obviously the single use craft don't.

Denny, I've seen you creeping around the forum bragging about a 2021 SG you bought but I've yet to see it. Weird...

I don't know of "restored" means flyable. There wasn't a whole lot of people around to ask butthe attention to detail in the workshop was incredible. I would imagine that fuel bags would leak given their age and engine parts are made of unobtainium.

It's all in good fun. Not sure why that popped into my head after almost 30 years, but that's what my brain does to me,
