Scratch that ........... Heartburn !
Evening gents! Been a busy day. Wrenching on the bikes this evening because it's finally not miserable out after the storms passed through. Just taking a quick break and then back at it.
Didn't realize you were having issues Chris. I would look at a Rekluse.
Thanks Chuck, I appreciate it. Just trying my best.
Like I said, just trying my best. Just like you. That's all we can do.
People say it all the time Chris. And remember, I steered you towards the Street Glide. Soon I will lure you to the darkside!
Thanks Stan. I appreciate the positive words. We'll see how it goes. I would be a good fit but my spider sense is telling me someone is working against me at this particular company. I have a few ideas. We'll see where it goes.
I'm sorry your endeavor didn't pan out. But that's the game we get to play in corporate America sadly. You'll find the right fit, of that I am certain.
The older BMWs are very agricultural. But it grows on you. And my RT is 600 lbs, or 300 lbs lighter than my Street Glide was. To me it's a lightweight. If we cross paths and I am riding it you are welcome to give it a try. Or the old one for that matter.
Alright - back to the garage with me. Gotta get the repaired fender on Sis's Heritage. It turned out very well.
I went back and read a little. Bob, I'm nowhere near the parenting level you are, but I think that helping our kids who are clearly trying to help themselves is a great thing. We're there to support. Kids that get the free ride will never learn responsibility, just how to blame others.
Howdy Folks, playing catch up here.
That first day back is always a bitch, after some quality time away from the chaos.
Best of success there Bob, sounds like you have some boots on the ground at Company B. Good assets to have.
My recent venture did not evolve into an interview, no surprise to me. It was about 20 degrees off my specific skill set, and I'm 62.
Hard to know which factor was more influencing, in a rural area where the experienced/ leaning toward professional labor pool can be tight. Onward and Forward.

Hey TOAKers. Been a while since I've said hello. Just popped in to show a Louie I got at Best Buy the other day.
Doing ok. Just got back from a trip to the Arkansas Ozarks. Rode around there for 6 days with a bunch of buddies.
Keeping everyone in line up there in Wisconsin?
Did you get to take much of the EAA airshow in?

I avoid the EAA as much as possible. They pissed off a lot of people with several sonic booms one day. They also do fake bombing runs with a lot of explosives that upset dogs and veterans. They had a record crowd this year.
As a vet, I had several very rough nights trying to sleep. The explosions were very disturbing this year and I only live a block from the airport.
The people of Oshkosh are starting to get tired of the whole thing. The EAA members used to come into town to shop, eat or have a drink. Now it's all provided for them on the grounds and the EAA gets a big cut. The bloom is off the rose.
