Not a chance! The second he leaves he's his old man's problem. Cheryl and I have already agreed to that. We will already be paying for two households - our house and our Winter digs. If we like it, we'll buy a condo. Or buy a house in Scottsdale, sell our house here, and buy a condo here. Either way, no room to float his La Vida Loca.

Foertunately for him his lifestyle consists of playing video games for 12 hours a day. Maybe a little golf or tennis here and there. He can do that in a van by a river.

In other news the kid told us last night he is moving to Boston soon. No job, just wants to live there and look for work. I do recall telling him to choose where he wants to live and just do it and make it happen. But I didn't know he was going to pick a place where rent on a one bedroom apartment is $2500/month. Good luck with that.
Godspeed to the kid. I launched from the backwoods of NC to NoVA and that was hard enough. No idea how kids can make it work today. We had 6 people in a 3 bedroom to get the rent to a reasonable amount. Things were simpler, and much more complicated.

Hey - welcome to TOAK amigo!

Despite my complaints he's a smart kid with a good head on his shoulders. He will do very well. And I'm glad he's taking my advice to just go where he sees himself living long term. I didn't have the ***** to do it when I was his age and somewhat regret it.

Thank you! Been a while since I checked in with KR and crew.

If you’re like me, you probably didn’t have a net either. Hope I can have one big enough to let my kid chase his dreams when the time comes.
