Lou, when I do stupid **** like that, I always claim that I didn't want to forget how it feels.

Did that once in my early mechanic days..... used a cutting torch to cut something and got a spark in my eye. Left a nice scar and made me wear a patch for a day. I did use safety glasses after that!!

Two things I always wear eye glasses for is when I use a doe grinder and a saw all. Been bitten by both of them.

I've had a bunch of close calls. Usually involves a burnt eye lid.

Hmmm ... I never did any "doe" grinding ,,, But I have spent the night at a Motel 6 ... and they did leave the light on

Lou I hope you heal fast .. The eye is one of the fastest healing organs in the body ! ... This might help :>)
