No, my boss was one of the good guys, put me in a higher paying position where I'd be out of sight of the top guy, and had no more contact with upper management. Got taught how to use a mig welder there, more to my liking, too.

PWA a shadow of it's former self.
Evenin toakers. Life just keeps getting more interesting. Neurosurgeon called, the stenosis in my back has worsened and he wants to talk options. I'm guessing back under the knife
G'Evening, Woods. I hate hearing about conditions in workplace and corporate B/S. I hated it 30+ years ago and I can't imagine what it's like now. 28 yrs ago, I Said "A M F" and never regretted it.

Gonna keep the best thoughts for you John. Years ago, on a Thursday, Kristi took me to a neurosurgeon who wanted to operate on my back the next Monday saying I'd be out of commission for 6 months. I asked him if shouldn't we explore non-invasive options first? He was certain I needed surgery for all of my herniated discs at L1-L5. Well here we are some 15 or so years later and still no surgery. I have resolved that if I ever lose mobility, we'll discuss it but not before.

I lost mobility before the first surgery. He didn't want me going back to work, but I thought I could handle it. I'm still glad I did, but I'm going to listen to him this time
