It was nice today....yes. It has been so dry this summer it really hasn't been swampy out west.

Halito Wooders, Toakers, Posers, Lurkers, and Sleepy Headers. Man I can't shake this getting up early each morning. I guess after 60 some odd years of rising early has my body conditioned for this. But paper read, puzzles done, tv news on, and I'm lurking here. What could be better??? OOOoooohhhhh.... Gregs Rump Day welcomes!!! That would be better!!!
got the day off....brother is up from N Carolina and we will spend some time together. Not sure on today, but tomorrow my sister, brother, and I will go visit our last aunt on dad's side. Sadly we are becoming the elders of our families. And I guess I'm the elder of our family..... hope I can maintain this realm for another 15-20 years!!!
I see some of Minnesota and Wisconsin are getting some good storms. I hope this is helping y'all with crops and such. By the time it crosses Lake Michigamma, these storms seem to whither and don't amount to much for us. Although last nite we did get some storms on west side and knocked out power to a crapload of people. Just be careful out there. Watch for damages and the idiots and any rubber neckers out snooping around!! Lurker out......

Good morning Denny, Greg, Mick and all. I am down in St. Petersburg this morning working at the field office. The project office is located at a church. They rent out some offices. Working on spreadsheets for the County today and doing some work for the City as well. Should be pretty uneventful and then the week is over. I got the battery for the Indian yesterday. When I bought the bike back in February of 2015 I was in with the finance guy signing all the papers and he said they had a deal going where I could pay $99 today for a lifetime battery warranty card. I said, let me get this straight, I give you $99 today and you replace my battery forever. He said yes and I said deal. I got the first one after 3 years and I got the second one yesterday. I plan to get one every three years. I walked in and Dillon greeted me by name. I sat the old battery on the counter and he said "battery warranty" and I said yes sir. He retrieved a new battery and it was that easy. Best deal I ever made since DieHard's went away. Everyone ride safe..
