I'm envious Bob, that's the Flood Run route and I made it every time the weather was good. Good ice cream at the Nelson Creamery
You dog !! We were at the Red Rocks when it hit like a freight train. Holy hannah, torrential rain, hail, the water was running down the amphitheater steps like a F'n waterfall, 1/2 mile walk back to the truck with running water on the walkways. The wind was howlin and the girls were soaked and not dressed well enough to stay warm so we left. It rained hard the entire way back to the hotel. It was disappointing we didn't get to see the entire show. The night put me to the test.

41/2 hour detour to get around it. In some cases even longer because of the amount of traffic on narrow 2 lane highway over several passes without passing lanes. Oooof.
I-70 through Glenwood Canyon has been a disaster for the last month. This last slide had people trapped in a tunnel overnight.

Howdy folks. Activity level is starting to taper here.
Hey, Stan.
Did you find a place to drop off your resume?
I-70 through Glenwood has always been troublesome, but this year they've had an inordinate amount of rain on a burn scar right above both sides of the highway. Bad deal all around.

G'Evening, Woods...long busy day today. ZEKE did great today. Sat in my wife's and g'sons lap on the way home with no fuss. Loved sitting and playing with g'daughter who couldn't stop hugging him. They tired him out quickly. he actually started coming when called which surprised me. Considering the hundreds of things that he was first exposed to in a few hours, he did really well. He's going to work out just fine. Right now he's in my bedroom and barking his head off .... pics tomorrow

Bob, how was the smoke on your ride? Now that smell is coming back, I can tell there's a lot of it in the air here. Was going to take some stuff to Carol today with a bike, decided I didn't want to breathe that stuff that long with a head that's still fairly congested. Kind of forgot I have a truck...
