My Dad taught me that chainsaws are meant to cut wet (live) wood. Sure, sometimes you have to cut old fallen trees, but it dulls the blade quickly. Dry wood dulls the chain and overtaxes the motor. And lumber gets cut with saws (circular). But again, that's our Germanic OCD heritage kicking in. I've been programmed since childhood to obey the family law of the chainsaw.

Bob, i remember seeing a crew putting up a split level modular in one of our developments, Their MAIN tool was a chainsaw and the final result looked like it. The archway in the middle of the house, where two of the sections met was 6" at the top and close to 8" at the floor!

Bob, Chainsaws cut anything, LOL until you hit nails or dirt, then the story shifts.

July showers bring all purpose flowers.

-and-

I cried because I had no salsa, until I saw the man with no tacos.

I knew that proverb book I bought in Pueblo would pay off

Al, which brand of the Stihl repower kit on Amazon is the best one ?. I thought it was you that said it was cheaper to buy one of these kits than try to repair the original.

Good morning all. It is dry enough to get in some golf today so I am headed to the club. A ride is on order afterward. Everyone ride safe.
