Accomplished those tasks yesterday ... Slim has an appointment with the vet today ... He's been acting lethargic for the last few days ... Usually he's "wired" kind of like Ack the Cat :>)

 

Off to do honey do stuff before the heat drives me to beer and pool time.

Morning Russ!

It's as shitty as it was the day before - no less, no more.

 

All the storms went south of us. Just got a bit of rain. Gotta go in tomorrow to werk. Gonna change oil on Traverse, the sand down some table tops for the electric department. We seem to help everyone else out and don't get help in return!! But school starts in 2-3 weeks, so we all have a lot to do. No biggie for me...... just a few hours in the morning then I can come home for a nap!!

 

I don't have a "honey do" list! Of course, I get phone calls like this one yesterday " I have to cut the grass next door and was trimming first and the weed eater ran out of string. What do I do"? My response, "Use the other one, there's two hanging there"...

 

Sirens go off so often here I think most folks ignore them, I do. If it gets real windy I'll check outside sometimes, that's about it. Lot of the time when there is damage, the sirens didn't go off. Fortunately my house is quiet enough and the nearest siren far enough away it seldom wakes me.
