I did a bunch of those models as a kid ... I remember riding the Greyhound from Detroit to Jackson to visit my grandparents for a week ... My grandmother and I would walk downtown ( a couple of miles .. she didn't drive ) to a hobby shop ... She'd let me pick out a model to keep me busy ... Fond memories :>)
