Cool car Russ. That 440 is a beast.

My old man had two Tornados - a 66 and 70. I remember the 70 had the rolling speedo and boy did the old man like to make that thing spin.

Just back from a nice day. Got Cheryl out on the BMW and she didn't hate it, which is a start. Went to our friends for pool time, and now it's time for a spicy burger with avocado, jalapeņos, queso, etc.

Well somewhat interesting day for me. First, I lost my pocket knife this past week. I searched high and low. Went to the Post and checked out there. Retraced my steps (best as I could remember) and looked in the usual places. And the unusual places. Man I looked everywhere. I was really bummed. I had carried this knife for about 40 years. Actually I've had a pocket knife since I was 10 or 11....so that's pushing 60 years. Started looking for a replacement. This was a Boker, and to get a replacement was well over $120. I did not want to pay that much....but I looked. Went to Sportsman Warehouse this morning and looked at their selection. I found a Made in USA Buck 3 blade for $40. Bought it and stuffed it in my pocket. Then I took a ride to grandparents old home town about 50 miles away. Went to cemetery up there and looked for gravesites. Found a few and took some pictures. Then I went to a Mennonite Cemetery on the other side of town. Found my mothers side and bunches of "relatives". Rode home and enjoyed the day. Got home and got a phone alert my DNA had been reviewed and they had some info for me. So I'm 63% English and northwestern europe, 25% Scottish, 8% German, 3% French and 1% Cyprus. Not quite what I expected, but pretty close. I thought how ironic that I go grave site visiting then come home to my DNA results!!
Oh did I mention I lost my favorite pocket knife? Well I juggled something next to my dresser and heard something drop. Yup.... my lost knife! Damn....I looked that area over well I thought!! Wife said put that one away and save and give to one of the boys in a few years. Had a feeling I'd find the knife after I bought a replacement!!
So my day was a pretty good day indeed!!!

I've done that sort of thing with small personal items too many times to count, Denny.
