Nope, I haven't. I'm not sure I see the point. But that's just me.

I have been out of my comfort zone numerous times during my home ownership career, but just like with an engine or transmission, the satisfaction in getting it done myself is priceless.
You go, Chuck!

When my counter top was being installed, they told my they install the sink, but not the plumbing.
When I asked why, I was told- "We're not licensed plumbers."
I told them I wasn't either but had been doing it for 30 years!

been there done that, Trish ordered quartz counter tops ,the contractor installed them and the sink. I had to mount the disposal and re-do all the plumbing to accommodate the new configuration.

I hear that Greg. I've never hired anyone to work on my house. But mostly that's because I couldn't afford it. Now when we have the kitchen done most of that will be hired out.

We've hired a few things out, like the addition, and a few others, but I do a lot around here.
In fact, a project I loathe has reared its ugly head- replacing a fence post that is in a real tight spot. Gonna be a bitch and a half.

Evening gents! The concours was pretty awesome. Some amazing cars. It was too crowded to take pics but holy cow, vintage Ferraris, Cobras, Jags......the list goes on. They had one of 2 made Ferrari F40 Competizione Le Mans race cars there. Estimated worth near 20 million. My favorite was a D type Lemans Jag. Also saw the new Ford GT at 1.1 million. Nice car. But not 1.1 mil nice.

Evening, Bob.
I like the '05-'06 versions better.

Agreed. At least it's a proper V8. I'll take one in Gulf livery please.
