I remember my Schwinn Apple Crate fondly. I instantly became Peter Fonda (hey, I was a kid) when I rode that bike.

I had a Schwinn as a kid ... It was assembled from pieces I scrounged ... It wound up being an HD model with the springer front end ... I used it on my Free Press Route ( night time delivery @ 8:00 pm )
