Good evening all. It's beer:30. The gig went well, the birthday boy was completely surprised. I am home and on my second Yuengling, one Black and Tan and one Flight. I drank a Sam Adams seasonal ale at the pary and I have to admit it was tastly. I will not be switching from Yuengling but it was good. We must have had 3-4 inches of rain here today. Not exactly a good thing ahead of Elsa hitting because she will bring even more. It's a double whammy of rain. I am glad I not longer live on the swampy farm down the mile long dirt road. Living at one of the highest elevations around has it'a advantages during the rainy season. Tomorrow I get the hurricane prep items that I do not already have so we will be ready. Everyone ride safe.

Damned brisket stalled. Took it out and wrapped it in butcher paper. Seems to have recovered and internal temp is climbing slowly. The chicken was done some time ago as well as the sausage. I guess I’ll have to drink more beer watching it.

So did it stall too soon? And why would that happen?
