Too late. It was friendly. I was petting it.I lifted it over the fence into the creek. I wouldnt mind having a possum as a pet.

Greg, I went that route when the first litter failed. Nothing out here that i would be interested in. Did it again today and still nothing.I got lucky and found a good breeder 100 miles away that had a litter of yellow labs and one available male. I spoke with him and checked him out and just sent a deposit on a pup. Beautiful English style parents with all championship lineage. Unfortunately, it's not going to be cheap at $2,500 but it's the going rate for good dogs. Should be able to get him around August 1, so I'll have a couple months with him at the lake. It's been a long seven months without Enzo.......
Perhaps there is a breed specific rescue in your area or reasonably close by.
Lots of "COVID" puppies and dogs are being turned into either the rescues or the pound as people are going back to work and no longer have the "need" or "desire" to have a dog anymore. May be able to find a pure bred on the cheap. Or one that strikes your heart.

I expect an appeal. Not sure you can get a fair trial in Minneapolis. Derek Chauvin Receives 22.5 Year sentence.
