What a beautiful day, low 60's. And grandkids... Screw the rules, I wanted to ride so I took them with me and they loved it. The neighbors probably didn't, that was a lot of circles around the yard and turning back for another round in the cul de sac circle. Fixed the bad leak on both cylinders, finally found the unlikely coincidence of the same thing breaking at the same time on both sides, the rubber cap for the tubes to hook up balance gauges almost broke in half on both carbs. Quick fix, Ural runs fine.

Truck ac works fine now, got some help from a small mechanic that could reach the part easy. Part came today, took longer to change the o-ring than to take the switch off and put the new one on. Nice to have a cold truck again, maybe I'll finish that tank of gas this year.

Evening gents!

Things are looking good on the insurance end of our foibles. The adjuster turns out to be a decent person who so far sincerely wants to help. She said we should receive some sort of payout based on estimates in 2 weeks. Then there will be a separate personal property claim which will cover our damaged goods. Nothing too crazy - some winter clothing mostly.

Weather wise it is unseasonably cool at 67 degrees, partly cloudy, and breezy. I may have to put pants on! Certainly for my trip tomorrow to Lancaster PA anyway.

Mike.... I see you have a master mechanic in training! Good for you!!
Couple of riding buddies got the Cardo Packtalk Bold communicators. They want me to help them get paired up to me. So I gather my unit up and decide to charge it to make sure it's ready to go. Lo and behold, I done broke it. The little connector to the USB cable pulled out of the unit and it's done. Ordered another unit and probably won't get here til next week. Damn I hate that. Gotta see if Cardo can repair the old one and get me going again....then I'll have two units, one for back up and one to use. Or maybe make someone a helluva deal on one. Man I'm pissed.
Supervisor at work says I may just have some short weeks...couple days a week, couple hours a day... No classes, just clean up and organize. Getting a lot done right now, so I'm sorta looking forward to the time off. More rides!!!

They tend not to kill their customers in Mexico. Not so sure about Baltimore.

I never missed cable or satellite, if you want something like HBO now it's a lot cheaper to add it to Amazon Prime streaming, they have most of the major pay channels on cable.

Interesting morning ....lol
Has he found a new job yet?
