TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Now I can begin preparations for WS’21. I’ve sent invitations, made a gift basket and have yet to pull the cheap cotton (not Mick’s Egyptian cotton, 2 bazillion thread count) cover off of the bike.
That gift basket may not make it all the way to Hill City on the back of your bike. Just sayin.
Mornin Woods. TGIF and the start of the holiday weekend. Everyone be safe, and take time to remember all those who have laid down their lives for their country.
May we never forget their sacrifice.

Halito Doc, wooders, Toakers, Posers, Lurkers, and any other 'ers up this early. Getting things around for school. Hope it is busy enough to make the morning fly by. Nice long weekend, finally! Hoping y'all have a great holiday weekend. Remember those who have made it possible for us to enjoy life. Remember those who are no longer with us. And Remember those who cannot be with us this weekend. No Memorial Day parade this year, but we will still have a service and lay wreaths at our Veterans Memorial Monday.
Be careful out there. Enjoy your families. Be safe. Lurker out....

Mornin, Woods.
Doc, thanks for a simple yet powerful reminder. This weekend and in particular Monday is about honoring those who answered the final call of duty. It isn't about sale prices on consumer goods, thanking Veterans who served or grillin and drinkin beer.
Those of us who stood with a battle buddy that is now forever young will never confuse what Memorial Day means. Rest well and Godspeed. I am humbled.

Good morning all. Today is Scooby day. She has to go to the vet this morning and to Petco for bath and spa treatment this afternoon. I hope to to ride in between. Everyone ride safe.
