Re-morning, Woods...made breakfast, cleaned up, did dishes, now making a list to go grocery shopping, then I have to cook it!...I need a woman up here to do this stuff!
Morning Woods.
Many thanks for the thoughts, prayers, and kind words.
Yeah this one sure took me by surprise. Went in for a stress test and was told I needed to come back for a heart cath. Don't really remember much else until I woke up when they were transferring me to a hospital bed 2 days later. The old saying about being run over by a Mack truck comes to mind. Truly I think all that was missing in this case was the actual truck itself. To be honest I was somewhat in shock as to what had happened, as in "WTF did you do to me and why?". Ended up being a quadruple bypass. I was about to blow a gasket and didn't know it. Doc said if I had taken off on the bike I would probably have come back in a box.
So 5 weeks later now, as of last Tuesday, and while I'm still sore and restricted in what I can do I am definitely on the mend. Still weak but getting stronger every day although I still have the incision on my chest that has to be repacked with damp gauze twice a day . Sweet T has been my rock and has taken very good care of me. Definitely picked a good one there!
While I had to cancel my west coast trip this year, it's on the schedule for next spring! I hope to back on the bike in no more than 2 weeks. The only thing that stops me right now is knowing I couldn't pick it up if I dropped it. I guess I could pull and Al and lie down on the ground next to it and then when somebody comes to check ask them to help me pick it up!
Still kickin' here!

Thanks for the update, Tracy. Heal quickly but don't over do....a couple of weeks now will save months later.
Morning Woods.

That is good news! Keep the faith.
Just got home from school/werk. Spent an hour changing tires on go carts. Apparently the school has 3 go carts and at the end of the spring classes, they let the students go out to one of the parking lots and run on a timed course. The kids are looking forward to this! Should be interesting to watch these kids try to out do one another!!
Well grab a little lunch, maybe lurk back in a bit. Should mow the lawn today. Starting to look shaggy! Lurker out....
