Got to agree with that, I love preserving mission style furniture. Your wood game is strong. Unfortunately the supply out here is sooooo limited. When I lived in the twin cities I could pick it up all over, cheap too. I bought this 1913 Buckstaff rocker at a pawn shop for $5. After I paid for it the owner said he would have given it to me to get it off the floor, he needed the space. It needed some TLC but the frame is repaired and finished waiting in storage for me to recover the seat and back.

Thanks. Yea wood is crazy expensive but old well made furniture is inexpensive for whatever reason. I still need to make a twin to my chair I made last year.

Really impressive Lou. Those doors are right up our alley. I see you used the screw/jig method for joinery. Did you do any kind of router treatment to fit the boards together or is it just the screws (and I'm assuming glue) holding it together?

I want to make an office door to match my front door, and it would be that basic style, but thicker.

Cheryl and I have picked up a number of nice items in the Twin Cities for cheap. Not sure what the deal is, but there are deals to be had there. Milwaukee - not so much.
