TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Afternoon toakers. Decided to pass on OT for the weekend. I'll make up for it next week. Took the OL for a spin on the new bike yesterday. Stopped at a local deli for lunch. Walked out to a lady taking pics of the bike. I told her she should have waited till I had washed her. She laughed, then exited stage left, post haste. Hell, that's as friendly as I can be
Kroger had a special on New York strips. Fried up a pound of bacon, seasoned the steaks, then fried em in the bacon grease. One minute per side, flip 4 times. Then cover and smother

Late afternoon check in. Been making sawdust all morning. All done for now. Next is building the upper cabinet doors then paint. Time for lunch.
Thanks. Made a lot of mistakes learning to play with wood. I love looking at the craftsmanship of old furniture and the wood that they had to use back then. Beautiful stuff.

Nice work Softie..... I wish I could do that. My dad used to build cabinets, stands, end tables and such. They were not anything close to "quality furniture" grade, but they looked good, sturdy and functional. When they both passed, wifey wanted a couple of pieces. They do hold memories for us!
Again.....good job!!
