That's why I've watched about a dozen how to build raised garden videos last winter, it ain't easy any more. And then damned wood prices went up, so I'm watching more on how to build them just using metal. Planned on using corrugated metal sides, rest wood, not now.
I pray that someday you will be released from bondage.

Buy load of dirt. Dump on ground. Plant something in the middle.

Truth: my earliest memory was on my back on a blanket (didn't know it was a blanket at the time) and water drops (didn't know what that was, either) started falling on me. I'd been fascinated by the dark clouds going by, didn't know what they were. Someone (Mom said it was her) pulled the blanket around me and when I got unwrapped I was in a dim lit room, and remember the stove was black (didn't know it was a stove or what black was at the time). Asked Mom if she remembered that in her later years, probably in the 1990s, and she didn't think it was possible I could remember that, I wasn't a year old. But I'd never mentioned it before and had enough details she finally believed me, said for some reason that incident stuck in her memory, too. Mom said she and a few other female relatives (I remember an unknown number of other people but didn't seem interested in them) were picking the remains of the year's crops. So my earliest memory is in a garden. Well, in a farm field, bit larger than a garden.
