Greg, since I was working with my landscaper today, I’m curious to see how your back yard is progressing. We have a couple of problem areas in the front lawn, right next to the driveway entrance. Too steep for the lawn tractor and just a pain in the *** to hand mow. Both sides will match.

In my desire to reduce Kristi’s workload, I’m going to have a couple of low maintenance flower beds put in so she doesn’t have to weed eat those areas. I expect my canonization to occur at any moment.

Greg, don't be in denial. Banning could easily occur with or without this performance.

Russ, my ex-wife tried to canonize me once, but it misfired at the last minute.

Naturally I wouldn't know of such things Greg.

I think we’re speaking about two different levels of adulation.

Doesn't Kristi no how to use a weed whacker? Sheesh!

My project is somewhat less of a disaster- for now. Too long a story to tell here, but the sod is down after most of it being rolled up for a week. Some of it got laid down right away, then they disappeared for a week. The rest got put down last weekend, but I'm not sure how much of it will survive. Shadowed area is what was put down right away.

Thanks Bob. Hopefully I can have it in before Chris’ arrival.

It follows the theme of the flowerbeds and is really pretty cheap considering I’m also adding another sprinkler watering zone to the backyard.

I expect this project to not be finished by the time you folks get here. Please forgive me.

You’ll be surprised how fast that will green up unless the rolls dried out. As you may recall, I purchased a special weed eater for Kristi, battery powered DeWalt that works very good with the DeWalt trimmer string. I can do everything on one battery but she is a bit slower and it takes two for her.
