Morning Woods. I'm about to wander off and find coffee. It was a long but productive weekend.
Al, that dock looks incredible! Hard work paid off.
Found some bag liners online for $54 and they're on the way. That's all I've got for now.

Morning Woods,
Been a few days since I stopped by. Got sick with a nasty summer cold last week and it put me down pretty good for a day or three. Tonya has been battling it as well.
Yesterday we held my dad's memorial service where we had a motorcycle escort of about 30 bikes for the family through town to a pavilion where a local Honor Guard conducted a 21 gun salute. The police blue-lighted the route for us with the siren blaring the whole time which in its own way was a tribute to my dad as he a police officer for that department many years ago.
We followed that will a toast using his favorite beer (Michelob Lager) which my cousin happened to find in Pennsylvania on his way in for the service. The original Lager is few and far between around here because the Ultra is so popular nowadays. I told the story of my dad and I riding in his Ford pick up on the way to town one day while I was probably standing on the seat (car seats where unheard of) and I noticed he had a beer between his legs (eons before cup holders). I think I was probably 3 or 4 and he handed me his beer (Michelob) and I took a big swill of it. I still remember how horrible it tasted LOL. The toast was then led by his brother Bill who also came in from NY.
Shots and beer were passed around for a while and I talked with a lot of folks I hadn't seen in years who were friends of my dad.
My Step Mom gave me some of dad ashes which I will carry to some places I think he would have wanted them.
I believe we gave him a good send off and I am sure he was humbled.

Good morning all. Back to work Monday. I have already been at it for 3 hours so I am well into my day. Everyone ride safe.
Morning Jeff.
Rick, that sounds like a great send off. Anyone should be so honored in the end. Hope Tonya is feeling better at this point.
