Hey, Larry....I had a Makita for over 30 yrs. Burned it out cutting limestone treads a couple years ago.. Replaced it with a cordless one thinking I wouldn't be doing any heavy work anymore. Had to cut overhanging boards on the dock yesterday. Of course I started hitting screws in the old PT boards. The cordless wasn't up for that...so I got the heavy duty Rigid with a couple demolition blades.

yep, have to cut over 40 ft of overhang off and it has to be straight. If you have to force the saw, it never comes out straight....
