Just heard from AlW. He’s doing well in Fort Minneapolis. He sold his wide glide and has been heavily into RC planes.

Hahahaha .......
Good news on AL W Russ, he had some touch-and-go episodes previously if I recall.
Had some concern yesterday on another matter, but I think it's about "break-ins" (not the robbery kind). This is about the stock seat that sucks after 175 miles.
Demo'd some dealer seats for the Fugly and the Sundowner Seat came up the winner, actually by a long shot. They even had one in stock so I picked it up on a rainy day when driving by in my 1/3 ton truck.
Finally got it on Friday and Rats !! My new seat feels quite a bit different than the demo, and sets me up about an inch higher. (Was perfect before). Part #s etc all check out.
After discussion with the dealer I think we all agree the seat needs a break in period. Their demo has had (2) full seasons and lots of asses in it. LOL
The new seat will be fine regardless, but I prefer it to ride like the demo.
In your experience, do seats really require a break-in ?
