TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
Mine is new but has gotten stuck. It's the rotating assembly. The spring latch moves up but it binds on the peg and won't rotate out. As counter intuitive as it seems, what worked was opening the spring latch while hitting the front of the pad to the back taking pressure off the assembly and it slides loose. So, fitting the backrest onto the pegs harder.

Mick, are you spying on me? I'm into my yearly battle with robins nesting on ledge over the front door and windows. I held them off for two years with rubber snakes on the ledges. This year the SOB started nesting on the snakes! I tried something new yesterday...old fashion spring mouse traps to deter them. I found one mouse trap out in the middle of the lawn. I wonder how it got there...buahahahaha
Now where did I put those mouse traps...........
Bob, use the old fashioned metal ones with the springs they snap with authority. Not the mole traps....

Morning Greg, Mick, Doc, Al, John, Stan, Chuck, and Mark!
Great. Now I'll have that stuck in my head all day. Thanks.
On a side note - Robins are the Wisconsin state bird. I would say they are the most stupid birds on the planet, but they are smart enough to leave in the winter. I plan on being like those Robins.

You're welcome to the Robin. I personally cannot stand the damn things. We should make the Red Tail Hawk or the Hummingbird our state bird. Much cooler.

Haulover Inlet is where the Miami river empties into the Atlantic, can be really rough. Interesting watching people with more money than skill try going through waves that can make a 40 footer play submarine. Doesn't end well for some of the nearly nekkids, and occasionally a clothing... malfunction.

Personally I would chose the Bald Eagle. See them up north on the fly fishing rivers, and we got a couple down state near the Grand River. Beautiful bird. Nothing like the tiny robin.....
