dot /cdl physical was due........weighed me , height , and finally NECK size....thats right, measured your neck, like a horse!! Then decided you may have sleep apnea....no medical /cdl card until you get the sleep study (which will determine whether you go thru life with a c-pap machine) I am so happy I am near retirement so this bullsht can go away and die away from the likes of me............

 

They did the same **** to me Bill. I finally talked the doc into signing me off without the sleep study. No sleep apnea here.

I'm gonna try the diet ,lose weight lowers the ''bmi'' and lessens the neck diameter......under the 17 inches for the neck and 33 an an under ''bmi'' I'm 17.5 and 34 ''bmi'' so I don't have a tall task to accomplish in 90 days.........Our state doesn't give a ''sign off'' policy, it's extortion plain an simple.

Rode in today. 55 degrees and climbing. It's awesome at 55 I can ride without long sleeves and be comfortable. Fairings are awesome! Headed out at lunch to find that dragon.

 

over 60 for comfy riding for me......under 60 I'm in a riding jacket.
