Well, in that case sir, I'll have to respectfully agree to disagree about that being swell. Sounds crappy. But it's gotta get done, I get that.

On a side note, the drainage I put in this past weekend is working well and was tested in full today. So, as much as it sucks, it is rewarding.

I've been fighting this yard for 30 years. When the heavy equipment was brought in to work on the addition 4 years ago, that was the final death knell. We have a very alkaline clay soil that is next to impossible to grow grass in without proper preparation. Which wasn't done when the house was built back in the 70s.
I've been patching and sodding and generally dicking around with for forever. Finally have had enough.

Lou, great shoes...... Thought I would give these lace up riding shoes a shot because I am getting tired of wearing my SWAT boots for riding all the time.
Got 300 in today. Beautiful day but a little windy.
Stock seat wasn't cutting it after about the first 200. Anyone here have experience with the HD Hammock seat? A clean one is for sale here locally.
.
Thanks Stan!

I like the shoes. I have some GCX that look very similar. They are pretty much my go-to riding shoes.

What's going on Greg? Swell things I'm guessing.
Wow! That's quite a showing Chris. Very cool.

Made some more progress on the BMW. Got the electrics all done, headlight on (harder than it sounds), and front fender on. All that's left is the tail light and some minor details. I should get her out tomorrow.

Nice, Bob.
I see that fender hoop and it looks like clamp style brakes as on a bicycle.

Evenin, Fellers. Camped overnight in a Cracker Barrel parking lot.

Tomorrow morning I head west and Chuck and Trish continue north.
