He must have been moving to side swipe that plow and put it on its side like it did.
G'Afternoon, Woods.....successful leveling of the dock. It was 36*, rainy and windy...perfect conditions Actual cutting took less than a half hour, it took me longer than that to carry all the tools back and forth. I marked the 3" section of 4 x 4 that had to come out and cut 2/3 of the way thru on the right hand side with cordless circular saw. Then I lagged a 2x4 to the top and bottom sections so weight wouldn't bind the blade when i cut the left side. Made the cuts without binding the blade, then lagged a 2x4 to the top part only of the post. Loosened the two lag bolts on the bottom right side and the dock dropped perfectly in position. Lagged the 2x4 to the bottom sections and ....done! Then the phone internet guy showed up to install new higher speed modem and had to stay another 3 hrs. he ended up changing the phone wires from my pole to the house and then the wire from my pole to the next pole down the road......I now have a blinding 22meg speed ....beats the 6 meg I was getting. Unfortunately that's the fastest they have up in no man's land..
