Afternoon all. Just got off the phone with KR. He's out working and sent me the following text that he got from Tracy Teal on the Big T's condition this morning.

"Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to everyone. Tracy is doing as well as can be expected when one has been cracked open like a walnut. He is in a lot of pain and fairly convinced the nurses are trying to kill him. The pain medication does not seem to be working very well, if at all if you ask him. In fact, he told me that he felt like the nurses were lying about having given him any drugs at all. LOL. He has been up and walking twice however I don’t believe he remembers the first time at all. He got off the vent last night at about 7 PM. The nurses were playing Stevie Ray Vaughan on Pandora for him no I don’t think they are as homicidal as he indicated."

If and when I hear any more I'll be sure and pass it along.

Good news on Tracy. He'll feel like a new man once everything heals up.

On pain meds - sometimes I think the only thing they do is make you forget how much pain you were in.

Hah! I start waving a signed contract in front of her I'll get more broken ribs. Not a chance.

While I would prefer that she joins, if I'm being honest, I wouldn't mind a little guy time. She and I have been together 24/7 for the better part of a year due to this COVID crap and I think a few days apart won't kill us. In fact, if I want her to go, I'll just tell her exactly that and you can bet she'll be going.

 

You seem pretty sure of yourself, she’s not home, is she?

 

Back from some very nice kubbing and have cracked open a frosty Dos XX Lager. Had I known it would taste this good I would have had one first thing this morning. Sorry to learn Cheryl may not make WS so she can swap shoe stories with the wimminz.
