TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
I have that effect on people...sometimes good, other times bad.
Good job, Chuck. You give the money to the bank, he gives the bank a bill of sale and the clear title...bank hands you his stuff, hands him your stuff. All is well.
Well last week I got 2 automated calls warning me that my SSI # was going to be invalidated if I don't pay up in the form of gift cards or bitcoin. Today I have had 2 calls from Burundi east Africa. Didn't answer. Wonder if the SSI office has moved...
Send me the money, dammit. I am running out of ideas.

Company got some new (1978) Ford fuel pumping trunks in Phoenix, and right away they started dying while fueling planes. I was familiar with those modules already, so when I got a call to move one (they were hooking aircraft tugs to them and dragging them out of the way - safety switches would set the brakes without the engine running), I dumped a bucket of ice on the module and it fired up within a minute. Told the drivers to open the hood when not moving, and if it did stall under a wing, get a bucket of ice off the plane. That ended up being the only way they could go a whole shift on 100 plus days. At module height off the pavement, wasn't unusual to be 140+. I also learned quick with my own Ford at the time not to buy the cheap aftermarket modules, very little epoxy in them and they'd shut down even faster.

Lou, just pay the money, I don't need people dropping out of the system...

Mick, I need you and Russ to get that 50 amp electric next to your driveway installed. I’ll be there before you know it
