It’s funny how dot is turning “commercial” laws into personal laws. We are starting to get that up here too. Like Ken said, just a cop with a hard on. What I would like to see up here is if the common person has to follow commercial regs, so should the farmers.

I just try to attempt to be legal, my luck with courts and cops never seem to go well. I know guys that have been haulin for years over the limit, personal not commercial but all it takes is a mistake on someone elses part to putchur *** ina sling. I have been told to pt a dash cam in the truck when I am hauling also, seems to tell a better story when there is trouble.

Uhh yuuup... just tryin to help abrudder out, people who sell 5th wheels don't tell the truth about haulin them, some of the rigs I see on the road make me cringe! I see Chuck has the truck to do the job just needs to make sure the rest is right and trips will be a lot more enjoyable without the law bustin your *****!

Yup, that there is the truth. Lots of people are overloaded. Just because the vehicle CAN do it, it’s not rated for it. Up here it’s half tons with sled decks with two sleds. Box is full of gear, jerry cans etc. Screams Stop me up here lol.

There's a Doc in Puerto Peñasco that could probably fit you in next week. His surgery is very neat and clean, and styled so it looks just like one from 1947, except for the much newer equipment from eBay some sympathetic Americans brought across the border for him. I don't know how that happened or who was involved, of course.

One summer, the rv place sold a 26’ bumper pull to an old guy. His vehicle to pull it with was a blazer, not the full size one either. He came to the shop for something and I don’t remember what, but when he left and got to the stop sign, he hit the brakes and both units were porpossing. We told him that the trailer was way too heavy for the vehicle but the salesman told him it’s ok.

South of Calgary they get some nasty winds. On holidays one year, we passed a Dodge Dakota and it’s 24’ 5th wheel trailer on its side. Wind blew it over.
