My team got reorg'd into an east coast IT division - you know the kind ...the "What have you done for me today" jackwagons. They invited the team to a "meet and greet" lunch that turned out to be an ambush. That was the day I started plotting my exit. Shortly after the ambush, I resigned and went back to work for the old management group as a contractor 3 days a week and basically left the jackwagons a mess to cleanup because they F'up a 2 car parade and I wasn't going to be available to fix it. One jackwagon director was fired over it but the real Ahole VP skated by getting rid of the Director. So much arrogance in upper management they might know numbers but they don't understand what makes the business work. In Dec my (good) old boss called me with an offer that almost knocked my socks off but I would have had to parallel report to the Ahole VP's team - no way in hell. So happy to be done with it all.

Tim, since the border is closed what situation do Canadians who were out of the when this bullshit started find themselves in? Have they been allowed to return home?

 

Well the story goes that you’re able to return to Canada. But you have to be quarantined in certain cities at certain hotels on your dime for 2 weeks.
