I tell ya Chuck, the further I can get (eventually) from the damn blue state, the better. The BS of the last year and more, I'm afraid...... is turning me into a cranky, scowling excuse for an almost senior citizen.

The story is the officer attempting to arrest the person with a warrant meant to pull a taser when the person offered resistance, and pulled his live firearm instead, firing upon the subject.

If you weren’t fighting or fleeing, then the officer would not have been compelled to draw anything except handcuffs. Don’t fight, don’t flee, survive the encounter.

Such as it is Stan, the Burn, Loot and Murder season is starting early. I don’t think we’d have problems like that down here.

 

I’ve lived in Michigan my entire life. First in the suburban Detroit area then in the beautiful North. Getting away from the rat race that is city life was a blessing. But Liberals are now ruining the entire state and northern Michigan is no longer the sanctuary it once was. If and when I cash in my chips and start looking elsewhere for a place to call home , the first consideration will be, does the state have a long track record of fallowing the Constitution, all other matters will be negotiable.

 

There would be quite a few other states willing to throw in as well.

I think I got the Rona. Was sick on Thursday- Saturday. Feel good today but I cant smell a dam thing! Taste is fine but never lost my sense of smell. Oh well. I feel fine.

 

That is the information I have. The problem is Russ (you're not wrong), is that the officer said "taser" as we're trained to do, and fired his weapon. He's done. His actions indicate he meant to use non-lethal force and killed the suspect. The POS shouldn't have run, the POS should have complied. The officer still made a fatal error and will pay for it.

The looting and rioting is a different symptom of a different disease.
