Yesterday ended badly, around 8 hours of no response to the second Moderna shot, and then in a few minutes it was like getting covid again, same symptoms I had before, but worse. Spent part of the night in the recliner, joints and back ached too much to get comfortable in the bed. Finally started easing off around noon. I thought since I went most of the day with no problems I was good, but it just took a while. Raining off & on today, enough to stay wet, good day for recovering. I don't think I've had anything except maybe food poisoning that hit me so fast. At least it did last a long time, already feeling a little normal again this evening.
Evenin Woods, just back from a ride to Fort Myers. Needed a water filter for the RV, they were the only ones ( camping world) that had it and it was a perfect excuse to go for a 125 mile ride in the warm sunshine.
BTW...what are hot chicken spread sandwiches?
Good evening all. Good news the search is over. We drove 203 miles and I rode it home. I was able to go a little ways down the street from where I got it and get the taxes, title, registration and tag all taken care of, ate some awesome BBQ then rode her home. We stopped at Rockstar Harley and from there it was non-stop 170 miles to the house. I was little suspect of the low profile Corbin seat but my posterior was fine. It is my first Corbin. It is a 2008 and had 9740 miles when I picked it up. It belonged to a fellow in his 70's who lives in Germany. Since he can't come here anymore due to the Covid he had his friend, another German fellow that is a citizen, has an import vehicle dealership and sold the bike to him originally, sell it for him. I made the offer, he called the owner in Germany and the offer was accepted. The bike is absolutely immaculate.
