TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge Part XIII
I'm fond of saying " No good deed goes unpunished"....In the past two days, I've disproved that, finally. During one snow removal process this winter, the handle on small snow blower was loose. The "j" shaped bolt and **** that allows it to fold was missing. I just threw a straight bolt and nut on. Yesterday, I was taking the old lady next door's paper out to the curb, look down and there's the black snowblower **** laying there ! Good deed...rewarded. Just now, I was taking in the tenants next door's on the other side empty garbage cans , look down in the grass by the curb and there's the "J" bolt! Good clean livin'...I tell ya!
G'Afternoon, Woods...
The US no longer has any *****......
They should load them all on a bus and take them right back over the border and drop them off at whatever Mexico considers a Childrens Services facility. If the kid is from the Honduras, then it's Mexico's responsibility to bus the kid to the next border and then that country does the same thing until the kid is back to the country of origin. Naturally those 3rd world countries won't want to play ball but screw them. Sanctions.

A beautiful 66° here. I had to chop down the oleanders out by the back fence as they were pretty significantly damaged during our freeze. Hopefully they can thrive this spring and summer otherwise I will remove them in favor of a hardier plant.
4 evergreens in front were overgrown....I got hold of an electric trimmer and went to town....if they don't recover they were goners anyways ...just got too damn big.....but we'll give nature a chance, them bushes don't come cheap.

In other news, Cheryl and I are booked to NOT be in Wisconsin next winter. We'll be just outside Scottsdale January through March. I feel a weight has been lifted off me and the heavens have parted to show me Valhalla.
