Mike, that's how I have it hooked up at the lake. Got a 25' USB cord. Computer is on a table behind me with TV in front of me. Wireless mouse and keyboard work on the TV on the coffee table. I just run my XFINITY TV app on the computer and get all the channels that I normally get at home.
