Half roof rack...no cross rails. Looked into buying a rack but anything decent is not cheap. Kayak is only getting moved one time from dealer to the lake , maybe 35 miles. W Thought about taking kid's p/u but he has a big toolbox in the back and I hate driving that thing, I think it's a POS. Only use it to go to Home Depot 5 miles away. Have an ATV trailer but I never got the hitch put on SUV.....

 

Hyundai has the cross rails available. Can't believe they don't come with them anymore.

 

I don't remember the last time I had cross rails on an SUV. I miss the old Jeep Wagoneers with the hatch window that goes down. Looked into them last year. Restored ones bring big money $50k plus

 

Well, make sure ya hang a red flag on the back of what's hanging out!!!

 

Yep...I have an old nylon vest in dayglo orange and green. Kayak itself is red,orange and YELLOW!
