Just taking what the foot Doc said to try. Give it time and if it don't work, try something different. Problem isn't the foot, per say, it's the sciatic nerve damage. The nerve will either heal, or I'm stuck with it

Nope. And back then surgery wasn't an option. Just drugs. Which as you know already don't do much.
