I agree Bob, the gun manufacturers are similar to the auto companies. If the competition comes out with something popular, they will all come out with their own version soon after.

I'm a Tru-Glo Pro guy myself. I don't like the exposed filaments. The pros work great btw - very bright.

I like the u-notch aspect as well -

Chris , I took third out of twenty one other shooters in a distance competition. Starting from ten yards, put two shots on an eight inch steel plate, then continue to back up and shoot two more at the next distance. The range allowed a 35 yard max distance.


This was my prize.

I was shooting my Shield, others had full sized duty weapons.

I already said challenge expected Chuck.

I don't shoot full size pistols. Even my duty weapon is a compact G19. No point. I have a rifle for long distance engagements. But seriously, that's impressive.

I qualified two guns that day. My Comander size S&W 1911 and my Shield. I did so much better with the Shield , the instructor said “ if I were you , I’d park the 1911” It’s 45 cal. And the safety cause me to bobble a little.

G'Afternoon, Woods.....low 40's and rain all day. perfect day for a nap! I feel totally refreshed. Think I'll play with the bike some more...
