I'm not saying what you and Rick are experiencing is the same as me, but what I thought was heel bone spurs was actually plantar faciitis, the tendon that runs along the bottom of your foot. It gets inflamed and can be very painful. I need to keep my calf muscles stretched out, pull your foot back will help stretch that tendon. Since I work on my feet everyday, I have had to go to orthodic shoe inserts to keep things lined up. Good fitting footwear is essential. Hope you both can find some relief. Nothing worse than feet that hurt.

Look into Whites boots. Best boots ive ever worn. Only owned 4 pair over the last 20 years and I wear them every day.

 

But they make your hands swell Lou...

I have never heard of them, but for fun I'll check them out. So far, the pain has gone away going back to my lace up boots.

Rob, you're right about the stretching. I do that normally so I didn't think about it.
