Installing heated grips on the Heritage today. This should be interesting. Installed them on the 2012 Heritage and If I recall, the wiring was all external. Installed them on the Ultra and wiring was all internal. It appears that the 2016 is a combination of both. I'll know better when i take everything apart. When I was doing the Ultra, I asked one of the Harley techs that I was friends with for some helpful hints. He said " Throw the instructions away because they're all screwed up . You can figure it out once you see everything"... It was a PITA with having to take the fairing and all apart but they worked great...

 

Back from round 1. I would have to say it has turned into blizzard like conditions; snowing sideways.
