Funny you should mention that. I realized my permit expired in January. Picked up an application yesterday. Used to be able to get a permit the same day. Now, it's 6 -8 weeks because of COVID. I call BS. Nobody is working in Sheriff's office? Pick up application at door t courthouse, fill itout and return it with copy of DL, They will notify you in 6-8 wks and give you an appointment to get your picture taken.... PA is an open carry state but you need concealed permit to have a pistol in your car
